Noida, April 16 -- Industrial units in Noida Phase-2 largely resumed operations on Wednesday, after two days of violence related to protests over a wage hike, with police and administration reporting scattered demonstrations that were swiftly contained. "On Wednesday between 8-9 am, workers in the Sector 63 industrial area attempted to gather for a protest. But, after police intervention, the crowd dispersed," said a senior police officer, requesting anonymity. Brief disruptions were also reported in sectors 62 and 85.
