New Delhi, July 1 -- Twenty-three Opposition parties, including the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), along with Independent MP Kapil Sibal, on Tuesday sent a joint letter to Chief Justice of India (CJI) Surya Kant raising concerns over the Election Commission's Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and other election-related issues. While the contents of the letter have not been made public, the participation of DMK and AAP is significant as both parties have distanced themselves from the Congress-led INDIA bloc in recent months.
