India, June 28 -- India has sent humanitarian assistance to Venezuela in the wake of the massive earthquake that caused widespread devastation in the country.
India has dispatched a field hospital unit, medical personnel and humanitarian relief supplies to earthquake-hit Venezuela under Operation Amistad, as rescue teams continue searching for survivors amid mounting casualties and widespread destruction.
The assistance comes as Venezuela grapples with the aftermath of powerful earthquakes that have killed at least 1,430 people.
