India, Aug. 23 -- A 19-year-old man was arrested for allegedly shooting dead his elder brother's killer after waiting eight years to avenge the murder in Nuh, police said on Saturday.

The suspect was arrested on Thursday and taken on four-day police remand after being produced before a court on Friday. Police said at least 12 additional suspects in Monday night's murder were yet to be arrested.

The killing took place in a field in Leharwari, Nuh's Punhaha, where a 29-year-old man was allegedly shot in the head from close range. A murder case was registered at Sadar Punhana police station on Tuesday.
