India, Aug. 22 -- The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Saturday suspended the empanelment of a private exam-conducting agency after a power failure prevented some candidates at a Jaipur centre from completing the AIAPGET exam.

In a post on X, NTA said it had also issued a show-cause notice to the company responsible for conducting the examination.

"NTA has issued a show-cause notice to M/s Eduquity Career Technologies Pvt. Ltd. for lapses in the conduct of the AIAPGET examination at a center in Jaipur. Pending resolution of the notice, the empanelment of M/s Eduquity with NTA stands suspended with immediate effect," the agency wrote.
