India, April 3 -- The Noida authority said on Thursday that it will develop a "Centre of Excellence" at the Gautam Buddha University in Greater Noida for students to conduct research on semiconductor or stem cell.
"We have decided to set up a Centre of Excellence in GBU, and this will be discussed and finalised in the board meeting next week. The aim of this facility will be to impart quality education," said Krishna Karunesh, chief executive officer of the Noida authority,told HT.
According to officials, the project will further encourage the research ecosystem at the university and help position Noida as a hub for high-end scientific development.
