Noida, Oct. 21 -- A portion of Noida's elevated road has caved in for the second time in just over a month, with the latest incident reported near Sector 33, prompting the Noida Authority to shut the carriageway from Mamura towards Sectors 18 and 29 and divert traffic to Maharaja Agrasen Marg.

A 2x2-foot portion of the road had caved in, when a passer-by informed the Noida Authority officials on Monday at 11am. Officials said the damaged stretch is being repaired and the authority is probing whether the latest incident is linked to the cave-in reported on September 15.

The traffic police and the authority initially placed barricades around the damaged portion while traffic movement continued. However, the damaged portion widened further...
