NIA to take over Nagaland IED blast case that killed one Assam Rifles soldier
Kohima, July 28 -- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Tuesday was entrusted to take over the investigation of the suspected improvised explosive device (IED) blast in Nagaland's Chumoukedima district on July 13 that claimed the life of one Assam Rifles soldier and injured four others.
In a statement on Tuesday, the Nagaland police headquarters (PHQ) said the ministry of home affairs (MHA) communicated the development to the state government.
