New Delhi, Sept. 9 -- Child rights body, the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), has summoned managing director of Meta India Arun Srinivas to appear before it on September 9 as part of its enquiry into Instagram hosting advertisements related to child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on the platform. The hearing -- prompted by a BBC Eye investigation that detected the ads earlier this year - will be led by NCPCR chairperson Valeti Premchand at the body's office in New Delhi on Wednesday, according to people aware of the matter.
