India, Aug. 30 -- NASA is preparing to launch the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, a new space observatory that is expected to help scientists study some of the biggest mysteries in the universe. The telescope will focus on dark matter, dark energy, exoplanets and the physics of distant stars, giving scientists a wider look at how the universe works.
SpaceX will launch the Roman Space Telescope on a Falcon Heavy rocket from NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The launch is scheduled for no earlier than 7:26 a.m. EDT (11:26 GMT) on Sunday, August 30, from Launch Complex 39A, NPR reported.
