Kolkata, April 8 -- West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday claimed that names of at least 300 nuns attached with the Missionary of Charity were deleted from the electoral roll after the SIR in the poll-bound state. Addressing a rally at Bangaon in North 24 Parganas, Banerjee said, "I am disheartened. The entire world has condemned. Do you know that 300 names have been deleted from Mother Teresa's (Now Saint Teresa) Missionaries of Charity? Names of monks attached with Bharat Sevashram Sangha and Ramkrishna Mission have also been deleted. None have been spared."
