Bhopal, Aug. 1 -- After two weeks, Muslims offered Friday prayers on a plot of land adjacent to the boundary wall of the Kamala Maula Dargah near Bhojshala complex in Dhar. The administration levelled a plot and spread plastic sheets over rain-soaked muddy soil and allowed the prayers after 2 pm. This was done at the instance of the Supreme Court. Police forces were deployed for security and barricades were put up after a few locals objected to the administration's decision to allow the prayers; they claimed the land was private property but failed to show any legal papers, officials claimed.
