Chandigarh, Aug. 15 -- The Punjab and Haryana high court has directed the Punjab government to explain why the result for the recruitment examination for multi-purpose health workers (female) was never published.

While acting on a petition by one Jasvir Kaur and others from Bathinda, the bench of justice Sandeep Moudgil has sought response on the plea by September 1.

The 800 posts were advertised in September 2023. Applications were invited in October 2023, followed by the written examination on March 9, 2024, but the merit list/result was never released.
