MPSC staff announce work boycott over alleged intimidation of secretary
India, Sept. 14 -- Officials and employees of the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) have decided to stage a work boycott in protest against the misbehaviour with Commission secretary Mahendra Harpalkar on September 11, demanding immediate assurances from the state government on the safety of its employees.
The employees said they would continue the agitation until the state government provides a clear guarantee of security to MPSC officials and staff. They have also demanded strict legal action against those allegedly involved in the incident.
