India, July 28 -- The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) on Monday denied allegations of a paper leak in the Drug Inspector (Group B) recruitment examination, asserting that there was no evidence to support the claims. The clarification came even as Nationalist Congress Party (SP) MLA Rohit Pawar alleged large-scale recruitment irregularities and demanded a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe.

The controversy erupted after allegations surfaced on social media that a document containing most of the examination questions had been circulated on WhatsApp two days before the March 22 examination.
