MP BJP worker held for killing two by ramming suv into their car
Bhopal, April 19 -- A BJP worker was arrested on Saturday for killing two people and staging it as a road accident in Madhya Pradesh's Khandwa district, police said. The two deceased were family members of a woman he was allegedly in a relationship with and were on the way to file a harassment complaint against him, police added.
The incident occurred on April 16 when the arrested accused, identified as Lavkush Rathore (40), rammed his SUV into the victims' car at least three times, police said. They added that the collision killed a 28-year-old man and his 58-year-old mother, a former sarpanch on the spot, while the former's 30-year-old sister and two other relatives got injured.
