India, Aug. 24 -- The Noida authority has appointed the Central Road Research Institute (CRRI) to test the construction materials used for resurfacing the underpass on MP-3 Road at the crossing of sectors 51, 52, 71, and 72, officials said on Sunday.

Officials added that a CRRI team conducted an on-site technical inspection last week, assessing the adhesion and bonding condition of the mastic asphalt with the underpass surface.

The development comes after repeated complaints from motorists, who said driving on the underpass was a major inconvenience due to potholes. The residents of sectors 70, 71, 72, 73, 74, and 122, among others, stated that using the underpass was inconvenient.
