Mohali, Aug. 14 -- A 22-year-old man was killed after a speeding vehicle on the wrong side of the road rammed into his motorcycle near the Kharar municipal office in the early hours of Tuesday, making it the third fatal road mishap reported in Mohali district this week.

The deceased, Amritpal Singh, was travelling with his friend Arjun Singh on a Jawa motorcycle (PB 65BD 6216) after returning from Hansali Sahib via Morinda Road. His brother, Gurjeet Singh, was following them on another motorcycle.
