India, July 21 -- The government appeared ready for a discussion on education-related issues after Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi of the Congress led a protest by MPs outside the official residence of the Prime Minister at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg, in New Delhi on Tuesday, a day after a students' march faced police action.
Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO), met Rahul Gandhi soon after and said the government is ready for a discussion in Parliament on the students' protest-related issue on Wednesday, people familiar with the matter told HT.
