India, June 4 -- Karen Read, the woman tried for the January 2022 death of her boyfriend, Boston Police Officer John O'Keefe, has filed a lawsuit against the Massachusetts State Police and the Town of Canton on Thursday. She claimed there were a series of obscene and racist texts exchanged between former state trooper Michael Proctor and Canton police officer Sean Goode.

As per the Boston Herald, the lawsuit alleged these messages revealed a 'culture of bias and corruption that they built, tolerated, and hid from the public'. It was filed in the Bristol Superior Court and seeks unspecified damages.
