Agra, April 12 -- The toll in the boat capsize tragedy in Yamuna river in Mathura rose to 11 on Saturday after the recovery of one more body, officials aware of the matter said, adding that the boat's operator and a contractor have been arrested. The deceased has been identified as Manik Tandon (25), a resident of Abohar, Fazilka, said police. The authorities flagged overcrowding, lack of safety gear and ongoing construction activity as key factors leading to the accident. "Preliminary findings indicate the boat was overcrowded and lacked basic safety measures such as life jackets.
