India, May 30 -- A powerful dust storm swept across Bikaner and several other parts of Rajasthan on Saturday, turning afternoon skies dark and covering roads, homes and neighbourhoods in thick clouds of dust. Strong winds sharply reduced visibility, forcing motorists to switch on their headlights as they struggled to navigate the hazy conditions.

Videos circulating online showed dense clouds of dust moving rapidly through streets and residential areas. The sky appeared orange brown in several clips, while trees were seen swaying under the force of the gusts.
