India, Oct. 6 -- Mark Mortimer, best known for playing Nick Hudson on Another World, has died at 59. He died on September 23 after a "fearless journey with cancer," according to his obituary.

Mortimer died after a battle with cancer.

According to his obituary, he died "surrounded by the people he loved most, after a fearless journey with cancer." The obituary was written by his family and posted online by Moss-Norris Funeral Home in St. Charles, Illinois.

He was diagnosed with cancer in 2024.

Mortimer made his TV debut on Another World in 1996. He became the third actor to play Nick Hudson, after Justin Chambers and Kevin McClatchy.
