India, Oct. 21 -- US secretary of state Marco Rubio dismissed a question about the recent Cockroach Janta Party-led protests against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, terming it India's "domestic matter." He also rubbished remarks made by "UN experts" on the police response to the anti-CEC protests and called them an "oxymoron."

Reacting to criticism by UN experts of the police response to the demonstrations, Rubio said, "Oh, UN experts, my favourite. The UN experts are the oxymoron."
