New Delhi, Oct. 2 -- India's manufacturing sector regained momentum in September after weakening in the previous two months, with the headline HSBC India Manufacturing PMI rising to a seven-month high of 55.1 from 52.8 in August, according to data released by S&P Global on Thursday. The index, which tracks factory conditions based on new orders, output, employment, suppliers' delivery times and stocks of purchases, remained above the 50 mark that separates expansion from contraction.
