Dehradun, Aug. 27 -- A 29-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly shooting both his sisters dead separately and also attacking his brother-in-law in Haridwar district's Roorkee on Tuesday evening, police said. The accused was identified as Vivek Kumar alias Vicky, a resident of Chudiyala village. The victims were identified as his elder sister Sangeeta and younger sister Pushpa. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Navneet Singh Bhullar said Kumar was produced before a court which sent him to 14-day judicial custody. Police said that Kumar shot Sangeeta dead in Preet Vihar and then travelled to his younger sister's home around 1.5 kilometres away in Subhash Nagar and shot her and her husband Sandeep.
