India, April 6 -- A car bearing forcibly broke through an iron gate of the Delhi legislative assembly complex at around 2 pm on Monday. The driver then proceeded towards the office of the Speaker, Vijender Gupta, and placed a flower bouquet near the porch, an official told HT. The car had an Uttar Pradesh registration number.

Further details are awaited. Authorities are treating it as a potential security breach, as per an assembly official.
