India, Aug. 12 -- A 34-year-old man died after allegedly being assaulted following a minor dispute at a roadside food stall in Ganesh Peth on Sunday. The argument reportedly began after his foot touched another man while he was having a snack.

The deceased was identified as Shivam Rajesh Pardeshi, 34, a resident of Ganesh Peth. The accused, Vaibhav Kishor Salunkhe, 24, is also from the area. Faraskhana police have detained Salunkhe in connection with the incident.

According to the police complaint, the incident took place around 3.30 pm near Durvesh Snack Centre near Dhule Maruti Chowk.
