New Delhi, May 26 -- A 21-year-old man drowned in a canal near Bawana Sector-4 in north Delhi allegedly as he entered the water body to take a bath with his colleague on Monday, police said. DCP (outer-north) Hareshwar Swami said that at 4.44pm on Monday, information was received at Bawana police station regarding a man's body found in the canal near Bawana. A police team reached and local enquiry revealed that Aman, 21, a resident of Raj Nagar in Ghaziabad, had come for some work along with his colleague Dheeraj, 25. "Both reportedly decided to take a bath in the canal, during which Aman was swept away due to the strong flow of water, and he drowned.
