Kolkata, June 16 -- Trinamool Congress (TMC) chairperson Mamata Banerjee filed a petition at the Calcutta high court on Tuesday challenging her defeat to Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)'s Suvendu Adhikari at Kolkata's Bhabanipur assembly seat in the April 29 assembly polls, the party said.

"Ask Kalyan Banerjee," the former chief minister said while leaving the court building with her aides, referring to Lok Sabha member and senior lawyer Kalyan Banerjee who will represent her.
