New Delhi, Oct. 8 -- Former West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Thursday said she may join the Cockroach Janta Party's (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar on October 10 seeking the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, as the INDIA bloc prepares to march to Rashtrapati Bhavan on Friday.

Banerjee reached the residence of her nephew and Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee in Kolkata. She is also expected to be part of a 10-member core team of INDIA bloc leaders that will meet President Droupadi Murmu on Friday to submit a memorandum against alleged mass disenfranchisement and demand Kumar's ouster.
