Malik denies role in 1990 killing of nurse
India, Sept. 2 -- Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chairman Yasin Malik has denied his involvement in the 1990 killing of a Kashmiri Pandit nurse. Malik, currently lodged in Tihar Jail, filed a 25-page affidavit before the Court of Additional Sessions Judge, Srinagar, rejecting the allegation. In his affidavit, Malik said investigating officers had visited him in jail prior to the filing of the charge sheet in June.
