India, April 3 -- A large portion of green belts along Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority(GMDA) roads in sector 81 to 115 are either underdeveloped or partially developed,according to a data obtained through an RTI.
The data showed that of a total 712,364 square metres (sqm) of designated green belt land, only around 38 per cent has been fully developed and the remaining 62 per cent is either incomplete or not developed.
The information was shared by the GMDA in response to an RTI filed in February this year by a Sector 92 resident seeking details about maintenance of green belts and plantation in the last five years.
