Panaji, July 24 -- A Mapusa court on Thursday acquitted Maharashtra minister Nitesh Rane and eight others in a 2013 case over the alleged vandalism of a toll booth at Dhargal on the Goa-Maharashtra highway and the assault of its attendants during a dispute over paying the toll.
"Our team of lawyers did a good job placing the facts before the court and we have, as expected, received justice," Rane said after the verdict. P13
