Bhopal, Aug. 26 -- An under-construction bridge in Madhya Pradesh, connecting Indore and Ujjain, has landed on a private farmland after its alignment was altered by 30 degrees, leaving the Ujjain Municipal Corporation (UMC) with the challenge of acquiring 4,000-5,000 sq ft of land to link the bridge to the main road. The bypass is being built at a cost of Rs.46.64 crore for vehicles arriving from Indore during Simhasth 2028. An officer, requesting anonymity, said, "The alignment of the road connecting the bridge over Shipra river was changed.
