India, Nov. 6 -- Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic has reached a scoring milestone not witnessed in the NBA for 38 years, surpassing a mark set by the legendary Michael Jordan.

During a comfortable 116-103 victory against the Sacramento Kings on November 4, the Slovenian scored 40 points. Doncic has now played in eight of his team's first nine games this season, scoring a massive 308 points in total.

With this amazing points tally, Doncic becomes the first player to score more than 300 points in his first eight games of an NBA season since Michael Jordan scored 303 points, back in 1988-89.
