Ludhiana, June 28 -- The PAU police have arrested two persons for allegedly assaulting employees of a restaurant in the South City area after accusing them of staring at them. The incident took place during the intervening night of June 23 and 24, when the accused, along with their aides, allegedly attacked the restaurant workers.

One of the employees sustained serious injuries and received 11 stitches on his head, while two mobile phones were also allegedly snatched during the attack.
