Ludhiana: Armed men raid gas agency warehouse, four staffers held captive
Ludhiana, Sept. 13 -- A gang of five armed miscreants raided a gas agency warehouse on Sahnewal Road late Thursday night, assaulted four employees and tied them up before locking them inside a room. The suspects allegedly fled with an auto-rickshaw, around 30 empty gas cylinders, cash and a mobile phone, police said.
According to police, the employees remained locked inside the room with their hands and feet tied until around 11 am on Friday. The incident came to light after agency owner Anupreet Singh reached the warehouse when the workers could not be contacted and scheduled cylinder deliveries were disrupted. He found the four employees inside the locked room, their hands and feet tied to chairs, and informed the police.
