India, March 5 -- Fans and college football lovers are remembering the late Lou Holtz, the legendary Notre Dame coach who passed away at 89, not just for his coaching achievements but also for his fearless opinions. One of the most talked-about moments of his later years was his outspoken comments about Ohio State and coach Ryan Day.

Holtz made headlines before a Notre Dame vs. Ohio State matchup when he predicted that Notre Dame would win, claiming that Day's teams were "soft."

According to Reddit, Holtz said that, "He has lost to Alabama, Georgia, Clemson, Michigan twice -- and everybody who beats them does so because they're more physical than Ohio State. I think Notre Dame will take that same approach."
