Srinagar, Aug. 13 -- Leading a big Tiranga Yatra in Srinagar on Wednesday, lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday reaffirmed the immortal spirit of India's unity and the indomitable courage of its people and said the yatra in the Kashmir valley sends a clear message that India must never stop and always move forward.

Today's event marked the confluence of two monumental celebrations, the mass movement of Har Ghar Tiranga and the 150th anniversary of the national song Vande Mataram. Hundreds of people including officials and deputy chief minister Surinder Chowdhary and CM's advisor Nasir Aslam Wani also attended the rally that began from SKICC.
