India, April 2 -- Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu on Wednesday conducted a review of key infrastructure and urban development projects of the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) in Dwarka and asked officials to ensure the best global civic infrastructure and services across all DDA projects.

"Dwarka has the potential to emerge as a premier destination for global engagements, given its excellent connectivity through Urban Extension Road-II (UER-II), proximity to IGI airport and world-class infrastructure such as Yashobhoomi, upcoming Bharat Vandana Park and the golf course. A comprehensive roadmap must be developed to position these assets as centres for international conventions, exhibitions and business summits," Sandhu said.
