LUCKNOW, April 2 -- The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has accelerated work on its ambitious township project after 2,500 farmers submitted consent letters for 430 hectares of land along IIM Road. The landowners' agreement marks a crucial step forward in securing land for the housing scheme, according to an LDA press release issued on Thursday.

The authority has already completed registry of 150 hectares, with the fresh farmer consent strengthening its position to launch the housing project. Officials said Naimish Nagar is expected to emerge as a model for planned development in north Lucknow.
