India, June 5 -- A shooting was reported in the 2700 block of E. 170th Street in Lansing, Illinois on Thursday, just opposite the local police and fire departments. The Lansing police are investigating a shooting that took place at a business there, as per Courtney Spinelli of WGN News.

The publication reported the suspect is a Black man wearing a red dew rag, black hoodie and with a white surgical mask on his face. As per the cops, he's around 5'8" and 160 lbs and was last seen southbound on 170th Street.

There is no details on injuries yet. The Lansing Journal reported that the Civic Ready alert system had issued a message after the shooting noting the offender was at large.
