India, Oct. 20 -- Kyle Kennedy, the granddaughter of Robert and Ethel Kennedy, passed away at the age of 42. Her death occurred on September 21 at her residence in Westwood, Massachusetts - approximately six years following a spinal cord injury that resulted in permanent paralysis.

The specific cause of her death has not been determined.
