Kharge set to be renominated to Rajya Sabha from Karnataka
New Delhi, June 4 -- Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge is all set to be renominated to the Rajya Sabha from his home state, Karnataka, where the party has the numbers to win three of the four seats going to the biennial elections on June 18, people familiar with the matter said.
They added that the names of Congress media department head Pawan Khera and Andhra Pradesh unit chief YS Sharmila are also being considered for the remaining two seats.According to a functionary, the party is keen to send Khera to the Upper House.
