India, Aug. 23 -- Actor Kartik Aaryan has undergone successful knee surgery at a Mumbai-based hospital. The actor recently sustained a knee injury while performing an action sequence on the sets of one of his films, after which he had to undergo surgery.

According to a statement shared by his spokesperson, the National Award winner is currently recovering and is expected to resume shooting soon.

"Kartik Aaryan sustained a knee injury while performing an action sequence on the set of his film. His surgery was completed successfully, and he is now back home, resting and recovering. He will be back on set soon," his spokesperson said.
