India, Aug. 13 -- Schools were open in Karnataka on Thursday, August 13, amid the bandh called by Kannada organisations to protest the release of the Cauvery's waters to Tamil Nadu.

The Associated Management of Primary and Secondary Schools in Karnataka reportedly withdrew its support for the Karnataka Bandh. Track Karnataka bandh updates here

While the association said that schools would not be closed on August 13, itm however, did say that the institutes would extend moral support for the bandh, reported Deccan Herald.
