India, March 3 -- The United States and Israel carried out a joint military strike against Iran on February 28, targeting Iranian military bases and government-linked facilities. During the operation, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other senior officials were killed which escalated tensions in the region.

After the strikes, former Vice President Kamala Harris criticized President Donald Trump for the strikes while speaking in Madison, Wisconsin on March 1 during a book tour event for her book named "107 Days". She called the attacks an unauthorized "war of choice" and accused Trump of dragging America into a conflict without congressional approval.
