India, Aug. 19 -- Union health minister JP Nadda underwent angioplasty at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences-Delhi (AIIMS-Delhi), the hospital said on Tuesday. He is recovering well, they said. "JP Nadda, minister of Health and Family Welfare underwent angioplasty on August 17 and is stable and under observation in the Department of Cardiology, AIIMS, New Delhi," the hospital statement said. Angioplasty is a medical procedure used to prop open narrowed or blocked arteries. Nadda was admitted to the AIIMS on August 13 after experiencing uneasiness and underwent tests, including a coronary angiography, the same evening, the authorities said.htc
