New Delhi, Oct. 10 -- The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) on Friday terminated the services of professor and Congress MP Angomcha Bimol Akoijam after an inquiry by the varsity's internal committee into sexual harassment allegations.
HT reported last month that 11 students filed complaints against Akoijam in May, accusing him of "sexual misconduct".P8
